AI Generated Obscene Image Complaint
If an AI-generated or manipulated obscene image falsely depicts you or is used to harass you, preserve the evidence and consider reporting it. The legal assessment depends on how the image was created, published and distributed.
What should you preserve?
Keep screenshots, URLs, usernames, original photographs, messages and dates. If the content is being used for blackmail, preserve the threats and demands.
Information Technology Act
Section 67 of the Information Technology Act concerns publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form. Section 67A concerns material containing sexually explicit acts or conduct in electronic form. Section 66E addresses specified violations of privacy. Applicability depends on the facts.

The National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal provides online reporting for cybercrime and online/social-media crimes and allows suspect social-media identifiers to be reported.
